Parable and Conscience Meditation October 8

Liturgy  October 8

Prayer nourishes our faith and encourages us to bring our faith to completion in love (Const. 16.1).

God of the universe, I adore you.
I bow down before you, touching my forehead to the holy ground of your creation that witnesses to your eternal goodness.

God of history, I adore you.
I kneel before the events of night and day that manifest your sovereignty.

God, Friend of humanity, I adore you.
I incline my head in the Temple you have made of all human beings, created in your image and in whom you are present to the world.

God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I adore you.
I prostrate myself in wonder before the One who is the perfect reflection of your glory and reveals your incomparable Love.

May my bold approaches to you, God of all, give you easy access to my heart to transform me little by little into a person of love in the image of your Christ.

Such is my worship of you in spirit and in truth.

Any living person, if really holy, is liberated.  (Mali)
